I have a Chubby Heart!!!!

Has anyone ever told you that you have a chubby heart? Maybe a chubby butt or just plain chubby but not a chubby heart. Well that was a real compliment to me. Arlene thank you for saying I have a chubby heart. That meant alot to me. My heart is definitely full. I guess it is in my nature to want to give. For many years I worked for The Salvation Army as the office manager, latrine queen, store clerk, I even helped pick up the drop boxes and deliver things to people's houses and even pick things up from people's houses. Oh and yes I even helped with the lunch program when someone was needed to cook. I helped many people pay their utilities when they could not afford to. I gave out food and clothes to those who really needed it. Christmas time was the best time of the year because I was able to match people up who wanted to adopt a family for Christmas. Working for The Salvation Army was more than a job to me, it was my life. Things change and life goes on to other things. I guess I will always be the kind of person who wants to go that extra mile. For anyone who reads my blog you know that I make bags out of military uniforms. Everyone of the bags that I make is VERY special to me. It makes me feel good that people want ME to make the bag for them. Oh and the emails that I get when they receive their bag is something that I will always treasure. Well tonight I received an email from a lady who got the bag she ordered today for her best friend. She wanted to do something really special for her friend because her husband gave his life for you and for me. He was serving in Iraq and lost his life. The pictures that I am putting up are of the bag I made for her. Thank you Paula for your very kind words. You really touched my chubby little heart tonight. I think you can make some of the best friends online. I know I certainly have. Thanks to each and everyone of you that I call my friend.
